If you’re about to tie the knot, no doubt you’re preoccupied with the finishing touches that go into your wedding day. From the flowers and the wedding venue to your bridal gown and his suit there is always one thing that is missed in the frenzy and that’s — your foundation. It’s hard enough to choose a foundation for day-to-day wear, but when you’re planning a wedding, you want the foundation that makes your skin look perfectly flawless and Instagram-worthy. Every bride also wants the foundation to last all day, without looking like she is wearing makeup. Brides need not worry. In my makeup kit I have two of my favourite foundations, that provide light to full coverage for the most natural-looking, skin-like finish.

Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

I love Armani Luminous Silk Foundation as the formula works on every skin tone and lasts in every climate. The pigment diffuses any imperfections and/or fine lines while evening out the skin like a soft veil. The formula also does not leave the skin feeling oily or tacky by the end of the day. This foundation is an absolute essential in my makeup kit. It reads flawlessly on-camera and creates a luminous refined skin that needs very little powder to set.

Bobbi Brown Pro Face Palette

The other “can’t live without” in my makeup kit is The Bobbi Brown Pro Face Palette which contains 20 shades of Skin Foundation, 13 shades of Corrector and 14 shades of Creamy Concealer. This palette is all-in-one face palette for all skin tones. It features Bobbi Brown’s original Skin Foundation Stick in signature warm, neutral and cool shades, which makes finding a perfect skin match so much easier. It’s also super-emollient, so it glides on and makes the skin feel moisturized. It has a completely buildable coverage, so I can go from very sheer or full coverage depending on how much is applied. I’d describe this foundation as being like a second skin, a slightly velvet finish with a natural luminosity.
